Breaking the Cycle of Violence Through Education

The goal of the Deir Yassin Remembered scholarship program is to provide financial aid to the young people of Palestine and Israel who wish to pursue a college or university education.

There is no greater priority for peacemaking in the world today than that between the Israelis and Palestinians. The long and tragic conflict between these two peoples threatens the health and welfare of future generations.

While we affirm that the military occupation of Palestine underpins the cycle of violence, we believe that education offers a path to empowerment and understanding, which in turn may open new doors toward justice and peace.

Through this scholarship, we affirm the Right to Education; we aim to empower the young with enlightenment and understanding; and we offer what we can toward peace, through education.

In the words of Gandhi; "You must be the change you want to see in the world."

Please help us to empower the young heirs to this conflict, so that they might make better choices toward everyone's desire for peace.

We ask that you open your hearts and wallets and make a donation to the Deir Yassin Remembered Scholarship. Your donation to Deir Yassin Remembered, a charitable and educational not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation, is tax deductible.
